Wyckoff, New Jersey, is set to celebrate Memorial Day with a series of community events on Monday. The day will kick off with a Fireman's Service at 8 a.m. at Fire Company No. 1, followed by a Veteran's Service at 10 a.m. at Wyckoff Reformed Church. A highlight of the day is the patriotic bicycle decorating contest for students in grades 2-8, which will begin at 11 a.m. Participants are encouraged to meet at Cornerstone Church with their decorated bikes and must wear helmets. The annual Memorial Day Parade will commence at 11:30 a.m. from Cornerstone Church on Wyckoff Avenue. After the parade, judging for the bike contest will take place at 1:30 p.m. Community members are reminded that Town Hall and the Recycling Center will be closed on Memorial Day, as well as the library, which will be closed on both Sunday and Monday. Residents are encouraged to participate in the events and honor the memory of those who served.
