On Friday evening, Pune city police detained four individuals, including two minors, following a shooting incident at a salon in Yashodeep Chowk, Warje-Malwadi, Pune, India. The detained suspects include 21-year-old Sahil Dhananjay Raut and Pritam Thombre, while two juveniles have also been apprehended. The incident, which occurred around 6:40 PM, left two victims injured: Nehal Shinde, who was shot in the left ear while getting a haircut, and Amol Adhav, who sustained a leg injury. Police patrolling the area noticed suspicious activity and intervened, prompting one suspect to open fire. The police quickly apprehended Raut at the scene and transported the injured to a nearby hospital. Authorities believe the shooting may be linked to an ongoing rivalry, possibly connected to a murder case from December 2023 involving Bhumiputra Kamble. A case has been filed based on a complaint from Usha Ravindra Shinde, and police are actively searching for four additional suspects.
