Kajal Chaudhary, a singer from Haryana, has captured the hearts of many on social media after a video of her carrying her 90-year-old mother-in-law on her head in a specially designed basket during the 84-kos Brij Parikrama went viral. This sacred circumambulation, approximately 260 km long, traverses significant natural landmarks and is steeped in the legends of Lord Krishna. Chaudhary undertook the journey to fulfill her mother-in-law's long-held desire, stating that it was her own decision and not a request from her mother-in-law. The Brij Parikrama is traditionally completed over 40 days, particularly during the auspicious month of Adhik Mas, where devotees engage in prayers and yajnas. Pawan Kaushik, a priest at the Sri Dhanghati Temple in Govardhan, noted the spiritual significance of the pilgrimage, which is believed to bring blessings to those who participate.
