Uttarakhand has initiated the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process to update its voter list, which will run from June 8 to July 7. During this period, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will conduct door-to-door visits to distribute enumeration forms to voters. To support BLOs in this extensive digital task, the Election Commission has decided to provide each of the 11,733 BLOs in the state with Rs 350 for mobile data recharge. This financial assistance aims to ensure that BLOs can efficiently digitize the completed forms using the BLO App without facing data shortages. Additionally, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has recently launched 13 development projects in Nainital district, totaling Rs 96.71 crore, which includes various initiatives aimed at enhancing local infrastructure and community services in the region.
