In an interview in Mumbai, she discussed her upcoming film 'Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata', which tells the true story of the courageous staff at Mumbai's Cama Hospital during the 26/11 terror attacks. Kangana emphasized that nurses are frequently underpaid and overworked, despite their significant responsibilities in hospitals. The film aims to change public perceptions and foster greater respect for nurses and other healthcare workers. She noted that the film will highlight the bravery of these workers, who played critical roles during the attacks, including identifying terrorists. Kangana's portrayal of a staff nurse aims to showcase the dedication of those whose contributions are often unrecognized. The film, set to release on June 12, 2026, is produced by PEN Studios and aims to shift societal focus from celebrated heroes to the essential roles played by nurses and support staff in healthcare.
