Birla group and acquired by Ambuja in April 2025, reported a 31.6% increase in net profit to ₹55.36 crore for the fourth quarter of FY26, despite facing a 21.6% decline in net sales, which totaled ₹647.23 crore. The company's total operating expenditure also saw a significant reduction, dropping by 25.3% year-on-year to ₹539.42 crore. Despite the positive profit growth, profit before tax fell by 5.7% to ₹64.03 crore. For the entire fiscal year, Orient Cement recorded a net profit of ₹342.03 crore, a staggering decline of 274.8% compared to the previous year, while total income increased by 3.1% to ₹2,793.12 crore. The company operates cement plants in Telangana, Maharashtra, and Karnataka, with an aggregate capacity of 8.5 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) and sells cement under the 'Ambuja' and 'ACC' brands.
