To qualify, members must hold a qualifying current account, maintain at least £100 in savings, or have a mortgage with at least £100 owed, all as of March 31, 2026. Customers with Clydesdale or Virgin Money accounts will not qualify this time but may be eligible in future distributions. Nationwide's chief executive, Debbie Crosbie, noted the society's growth in mortgages and retail deposits, which supports the Fairer Share payments.
