The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially extended the deadline for students to apply for scanned photocopies of their evaluated answer books to May 25, 2026, at midnight. This decision was communicated through a circular from Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, the CBSE Controller of Examinations, who emphasized the need to provide students with adequate time to submit their requests. The circular reiterated that all other terms and conditions regarding the application process remain unchanged. Additionally, in response to concerns raised on social media regarding the new digital evaluation process, CBSE announced that it will refund students who were charged excess fees while applying for scanned copies during the Class 12 post-result process. The notice indicated that some students experienced incorrect fee deductions due to technical issues, and refunds will be processed through the original payment method used. Students will also be informed if any balance payments are necessary. The CBSE will soon announce the start date for accepting re-evaluation requests, ensuring that the portal remains open for at least two days after the scanned answer books are made available.
