The 'feel-like' temperature has been reported between 45°C and 46°C due to high humidity and atmospheric conditions. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted that these severe heatwave conditions will persist across all districts of the Kanpur division for the next 24 hours, with expected maximum temperatures ranging between 41°C and 43°C. Residents are advised to prepare for strong sunlight and hot, dry westerly winds, which could push the 'real-feel' temperature even higher. Additionally, thunderstorms and rain are anticipated in the coming days, providing some relief from the oppressive heat. Dr. S Sunil Pandey, a weather expert, noted that the minimum temperature recorded on Tuesday was 28.4°C, with relative humidity reaching 47%.
