Faisal Khan, popularly known as Khan Sir, has been granted interim protection from arrest by a Patna court in relation to a shooting incident at his coaching centre. This decision was made by the Principal District and Sessions Judge of Patna after considering an anticipatory bail application filed by Khan Sir. His lawyer, Arvind Kumar Mavvar, explained that this interim protection means that Khan Sir cannot be arrested until the next hearing, scheduled for June 10. During this time, he is free to travel and is expected to cooperate with the police investigation. The case stems from violent clashes and alleged gunfire outside his coaching institute earlier this month, leading to an FIR against him. The court has requested the case diary and antecedent records to review the situation further before the next hearing, where more arguments will be presented regarding the anticipatory bail plea. Khan Sir's legal team maintains that he is fully cooperating with authorities as the investigation proceeds.
