InterSystems has launched the TrakCare community solution at Gateway Health, a not-for-profit health service in Australia. This solution, co-designed with Gateway Health over six months, aims to enhance staff productivity and integrate advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI). Key features include the Encounter Record, which consolidates patient information onto a single page, and the Outpatient Planner, designed to streamline workflows and improve data quality. Gateway Health provides a range of health services across North East Victoria and Southern New South Wales, including general practice, mental health, and aged care. The new system is expected to improve the organization's ability to track care episodes and link activities to funding and health outcomes. Additionally, Gateway Health plans to implement SMS appointment reminders and explore mobile access for staff, enhancing client interactions. InterSystems has also formed a working group of community health providers to ensure the solution meets local needs and offers a pathway to modern technology.
