Alex Kavutskiy is making his feature directorial debut with the dark comedy 'Little One,' which has recently expanded its cast to include Amy Smart, Chiara Aurelia, Redding Munsell, and Derek Luh. The film centers on a family whose idyllic life is disrupted by a sudden change in a child's behavior. Previously announced cast members David Harbour and Gaby Hoffmann will portray the parents. The film is produced by Zach Cregger and Roy Lee, who have collaborated on previous projects, including 'Barbarian.' Currently, 'Little One' is being filmed in Los Angeles, benefiting from a California tax credit. Kavutskiy has also penned the script and is producing alongside Alex Lebovici, Chris McEwen, and others from Soto Productions. This project marks a significant return for Cregger, a founding member of the New York comedy troupe, The Whitest Kids U’ Know. The film is expected to showcase a blend of dark humor and family dynamics.
