In response, local businesses, community members, and alumni have organized a 'community prom' scheduled for June 12 at the Anton Art Center in Mount Clemens. This event will feature traditional prom elements such as a red carpet, DJ, and photo opportunities. The Clintondale Community Schools district has stated that it cannot officially participate in rescheduling the prom due to ongoing investigations into the threat.
