According to reports from MacRumors, the new tool allows users to create Genmoji from existing emojis, images from their Photos app, or even written prompts. A standout feature is the ability to modify the generated Genmoji without starting over; users can simply describe the changes they want, such as altering colors or adding elements. For instance, a user can request a kitten with an umbrella and later specify a change from an orange cat to a calico without redoing the entire process. The updated creator is designed to produce more consistent outputs, defaulting to a cute, 3D cartoon style, with additional options for different artistic styles, including drawings or sketches. Although Apple did not provide extensive details about this feature during its WWDC announcements, it hinted at improvements in Genmoji quality and user customization. The rollout of these features is expected to occur sometime this fall as part of Apple's broader Apple Intelligence updates.
