Twisha's father, Navnidhi Sharma, and brother, Major Harshit Sharma, have voiced hopes for a fair examination of the circumstances surrounding her death. The Supreme Court has taken cognizance of the case, highlighting concerns regarding institutional bias and procedural discrepancies in the investigation. Twisha, who married Singh in December 2022, died under suspicious circumstances on May 12, leading her family to allege mental torture and dowry harassment, prompting calls for a thorough inquiry and a CBI investigation.
