Rostec, Russia's state tech corporation, will present its latest marine robotic rescue vehicle, the R-Saver-1, at the Fleet 2026 International Maritime Defense Show in Kronstadt, St. Petersburg, scheduled for June 10-14. This innovative marine drone is designed to swiftly deliver rescue equipment and tools to emergency locations at sea, such as vessels in distress or offshore oil and gas production facilities. The R-Saver-1 can transport cargo over a distance of up to 800 km and reach speeds of 50 km/h, with a maximum payload capacity of 600 kg. In addition to the drone, Rostec's exhibit will include an airspace control system capable of tracking a variety of aerial objects, including drones, and providing precise coordinates. The Shvabe Holding Company will also showcase advanced monitoring systems, including video and thermal imaging technology. Furthermore, the Fleet 2026 show will feature an active business program organized by Rosoboronexport, which aims to facilitate meetings and negotiations with foreign naval delegations, showcasing 75 presentations of Russian naval equipment and armaments.
