Apple has announced macOS 27 Golden Gate, which introduces several new features, including the ability to resize the iPhone Mirroring window. This update allows users to adjust both the size and aspect ratio of the mirroring window, enhancing flexibility for workflows that depend on iPhone Mirroring. Previously, users were restricted to the iPhone's native aspect ratio, but now they can choose from several fixed aspect ratios. Depending on the selected ratio, the mirroring display will show either an adjusted iPhone layout or an iPad layout when available. Additionally, macOS 27 Golden Gate brings support for Control Center in iPhone Mirroring, allowing users to mirror more areas from their iPhone, including the Home Screen and App Switcher. Other enhancements in this update include fixed rounded corners for windows and apps, along with improvements to Siri AI. These updates aim to improve the overall user experience on Mac devices, making them more versatile and user-friendly.
