The Uttar Pradesh Madarsa Education Board announced the results for the 2026 maunshi/maulvi and alim examinations, achieving an impressive overall pass percentage of 88.26%. This year, 55,788 students successfully passed their examinations. In the Munshi-Maulvi category, 62,232 candidates registered, with 47,036 appearing for the exam. The pass percentage was 88.07%, with 21,407 girls achieving a pass rate of 91.46%, compared to 20,019 boys at 84.72%. In the Alim examination, 18,701 students registered, and 14,362 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 88.79%. Here, 7,822 girls passed with a rate of 90.88%, while 6,540 boys had a pass rate of 86.42%. Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar highlighted the government's focus on modernizing Madarsa education, aligning with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, promoting the idea of combining traditional education with modern technology.
