Vinay Mohan Kwatra, India's Ambassador to the US, has been actively engaging with prominent corporate and technology leaders to strengthen economic and technological ties between the two nations. In a series of meetings, he discussed Walmart's investment strategies in India with CEO Chris Nicholas, emphasizing the company's commitment to building resilient supply chains. Kwatra also met Ylli Bajraktari, CEO of the Special Competitive Studies Project, to exchange insights on advanced technologies, including Quantum computing and Artificial Intelligence, ahead of the upcoming India-US Forum.

In addition to economic discussions, Kwatra reinforced security cooperation by meeting with Sebastian Gorka, a senior US counter-terrorism official, to address global terrorism threats. Their dialogue reflects the strategic partnership established by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump, which aims to combat terrorism and eliminate safe havens for terrorist groups. This commitment was further highlighted by the recent extradition of Tahawwur Rana, the mastermind behind the 2008 Mumbai attacks, showcasing the ongoing efforts to hold terrorists accountable and enhance collaborative security measures.
