In a significant move to bolster security for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will enlist the Indian Air Force (IAF) to transport question papers. Scheduled for June 21, this re-examination follows the cancellation of the previous exam on May 3 due to allegations of a paper leak. The IAF will facilitate the delivery of examination materials to 18 designated locations across the country, reinforcing the integrity of the process. This decision comes in response to widespread protests and concerns over fairness in the examination system. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan highlighted that the involvement of the IAF aims to strengthen the chain of custody for the question papers, minimizing any risk of tampering during transportation.
