Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Assembly and a prominent figure in the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), has launched a fierce critique of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government, asserting that the state treasury is completely empty. This financial shortfall, he argues, has left the government unable to fulfill its obligations to the public, particularly in terms of welfare payments for women and senior citizens. Yadav demanded answers regarding the delayed disbursement of promised financial assistance, questioning when the second installment for women and pensions would be provided. He expressed skepticism about the government’s accountability, stating, "The government has no money to do anything, the treasury is empty."

In addition to financial grievances, Yadav also addressed the recent NEET-UG 2026 paper leak, alleging that the NDA government is complicit in shielding corrupt individuals and criminals. He noted that such incidents are not new in Bihar, highlighting a troubling pattern of corruption and lack of consequences for those involved. Yadav's remarks reflect ongoing tensions between the opposition and the ruling government, as he calls for transparency and accountability.
