In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, police protection has been established at the residence of Abhijeet Dipke, the founder of the newly formed Cockroach Janta Party (CJP). Deputy Commissioner of Police Pankaj Atulkar stated that the police protection is a precautionary measure to prevent crowding at Dipke's home, as the CJP is currently trending on social media. He emphasized that the protection was not in response to any threats, noting that no formal complaints had been received by any police stations within his jurisdiction. Despite this, Dipke's parents have expressed fears regarding his potential arrest as the party garners attention. Furthermore, Dipke has alleged that a significant crackdown on the CJP's digital presence has taken place, claiming that all official social media accounts and the party's website have been taken down or compromised, which has left the group struggling to maintain its online operations.
