Google has launched its new AI Plus subscription plan, which is now available at a reduced monthly price of $4.99 in the United States and ₹399 in India. This plan offers 400GB of storage, doubling the previous limit of 200GB, and can be utilized across various Google applications such as Drive, Google Photos, and Gmail. In addition to the increased storage, subscribers will enjoy enhanced features, including double usage limits in the Gemini application, access to Daily Brief, scheduled interactions, and a substantial 128,000 token context window. Furthermore, AI Plus members will benefit from larger limits in tools like NotebookLM and AI Inbox in Gmail, as well as additional features in Google Flow and AI Studio. The subscription also supports account sharing, allowing users to share benefits with up to five family members. This move is seen as a strategic response to ongoing storage challenges faced by users, providing them with more space to store photos and documents without the constant worry of running out of storage.
