Uttar Pradesh's response was led by captain Rahul Singh, who scored 31 runs, and Vintoo Yadav, who contributed 35 runs. However, it was Deependra Singh's stellar performance, scoring an unbeaten 54 runs, that guided Uttar Pradesh to a total of 173 runs for 6 wickets in just 18.5 overs.
