Flo Health has published the largest study on female sexual satisfaction and orgasms, involving 27,931 participants. The research indicates that while women often reach orgasm more reliably through masturbation, orgasms during partnered sex are a stronger predictor of overall sexual satisfaction. Notably, 56.2% of participants expressed moderate to high satisfaction with their sex lives, while 19.5% reported dissatisfaction. The study also revealed that sexual variety in partnered activities correlates with higher satisfaction, contrasting with solo experiences. Clitoral stimulation emerged as the most frequently reported activity among partners, with 90.2% of women engaging in it, highlighting the significance of clitoral stimulation for achieving orgasm. The findings challenge traditional views on female sexual experiences and emphasize the importance of intimacy and communication in enhancing sexual satisfaction. This study, published in the Archives of Sexual Behavior, was conducted by Flo Health in collaboration with experts from the University of Utah and Trent University.
