He noted their strong personal connection, having met multiple times, including after Zelenskyy’s visit to the White House last year. Zelenskyy remarked on the continued support from King Charles, although he refrained from detailing the nature of this support. He humorously shared that his wife sends her regards to the king before the UK Prime Minister, indicating their affection for the monarch. Since the war began, only Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, and Princess Anne have officially visited Ukraine, while Prince Harry has made three visits, advocating for the recovery of military personnel affected by the conflict. Last March, King Charles extended an invitation to Zelenskyy to visit his Sandringham estate, reinforcing the UK’s commitment to supporting Ukraine amidst ongoing challenges.
